客厅隔断常见的是玻璃，通透性好不说，还不会遮挡光线。避免了增加隔断使得原本空间变得拥挤的问题。

开放式厨房的情况下，吧台在视觉上分割了厨房跟餐厅。不过吧台的建造需考虑家里的实际使用面积，35平米以下的还是建议不用。

卧室隔断
卧室和客厅的分隔，可以选择磨砂质感的玻璃门或木质栏杆作为隔断，既可以保证卧室隐私性，又不占据空间，特别适合小户型。

卫生间隔断
如果涉及到水电等线路问题，不建议做大面积的、难以操作的、不可移动拆卸的隔断，应当做些易操作的、好看的、可实现的隔断，尤其是卫生间区域。
玻璃隔断让卫生间在私密性和开放性之间任意切换，既保留了空间的独立性，又让空间之间保持对话。
